No way! At least wait until the episodes that fill you in on his totally touching backstory. Or am I just another one of those girls who likes assholes :(
P.S., you're doomed. Every single episode of Lost ends like a regular series' freaky-dramatic season-finale cliffhanger. It's torture. On a weekly basis.
OK, well, I will wait for the charming backstory. But I have to say, at this point, I think you're just a masochist :)
And you're right about the cliffhangers... I only rented the first disc, and last night when I finished watching it I moved the other 5 to the top of my ziplist (canada's answer to netflix). I need to know WHAT HAPPENS! And, I know everyone else in the world has already been asking this for three years or whatever but, what is up with that freakin' island?
J. J. Abrams is kind of a genius I think, in his own way. ALIAS was so, so great at some point for the same reason: it's based around such an incredible premise, it doesn't matter if individual aspects (*cough* DIALOGUE *cough*) suck.
If you hang on to this anti-Sawyer opinion through the second season, you will be even more of my hero than you already are. I suspect however you will follow the rest of your ilk and fall gooey-eyes in love with the big moose.
