Today, to celebrate the highest Canadian dollar in something like a hundred years (US$1.0869), I am buying things on the internet. From American stores. Hah!

I just transfered the last of my Canadian money to USD. Had I known what the world would look like now, I'd have waited to transfer the bulk of my funds.
But, while the loonie may be on fire, does CanadaPost still suck?
Oh, it still sucks to the extreme. You can comfort yourself with that thought. In fact, this is pretty much the time of year when Canada Post starts warning people to mail their Christmas presents. "Christmas mail to Ontario must be mailed by Nov. 10th!" I exaggerate. As usual. But you get the idea.
